Chair's message

For many Canadians, the arrival of the New Year is a time for reflection. Certainly, at the TSB, 2013 will be remembered as a pivotal year. From several major investigations into the derailment in Lac-Mégantic, the Ornge helicopter crash in Moosonee and the bus-train collision in Ottawa, to key recommendations on rail and floatplane safety, our investigators have worked tirelessly and continue to do so to improve the safety of the Canadian transportation system. As we begin 2014, take a moment to reflect on some of the important work we’ve accomplished over the last three months. Happy New Year!
