||The occurrence identification number. The "M" is to identify Marine mode followed by 2 digits to identify the year of the occurrence. The alphabetic letter after the year is to identify the region of the occurrence followed by MARSIS application assigned sequential number.
||The name of the vessel as registered/licensed; if it has not been registered/licensed then the common name used by the owner. For the multiple vessels occurrences, each vessel is reported in a separate row and the occurrence identification number is replicated in each row.
||The state/country under whose laws the vessel is registered or licensed.
||The type of vessel as registered/licensed or the purpose for which it is commonly used.

||Vessel gross tonnage
||A measure of the overall size of the vessel expressed as a volume of its enclosed spaces with some exemptions (1 Gross Ton = 100 cubic feet or 2.83 cu. metres).
||Vessel year built
||The year in which the vessel was first built as indicated on vessel's documentation, for example Certificate of Registry/license.
||Vessel year rebuilt
||The year in which the vessel was rebuilt, when applicable.
||Condition of the vessel with regards to its type of movement or its operational status.
||Vessel activity type
||Activity that the vessel was engaged in at the time of the occurrence (e.g. carriage of goods, fishing).
||Vessel activity subtype
||More detailed description of the vessel activity type.
||Vessel loss indicator
||Indicates if the damage incurred to the vessel in general or to its hull caused constructive or total vessel loss.
||Primary vessel indicator
||If more than one vessel are involved in the occurrence, the primary vessel for the occurrence is designated by the IIC, based on the TSB definition. For single vessel occurrences, the indicator is set to "YES".
||Primary accident/incident indicator
||If more than one accident/incident of different type occurred with a vessel, the primary accident/incident type is defined by the IIC, according to the gravity or adverse impact it had on the vessel's ability to continue its voyage. If a single accident/incident occurred with a vessel, the indicator is set to "YES".
||Vessel accident/incident type
||If more than one accident/incident of different type occurred with a vessel involved in the occurrence, each accident/incident occurred with the vessel is reported in a separate row and the vessel level information is replicated in each row.

||Further description of the accident or incident type.
||The date and time when the data file was generated. Date format is YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.
