Investigation report: June 2019 fatal collision with terrain after takeoff in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec
Dorval, Quebec, 3 March 2020 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A19Q0088) on 16 June 2019 fatal collision with terrain after takeoff of a Pitts S2E aircraft in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
